What Is an ATS?
An Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is software that companies — including the large majority of Fortune 500 employers, according to Jobscan — use to automatically filter resumes before a human ever reads them. When you apply online, your resume is first scanned for keywords that match the job description. Resumes that don't score high enough are filtered out automatically.
